Privacy Policy

Privacy policy

Effective August 18, 2026.

Apartment Cleaning DC collects the information you submit through quote, contact, and provider-claim forms so we can respond, review listings, and—only when you request matching—share a cleaning request with up to three relevant providers.

Information collected

Forms may collect your name, email, phone, ZIP code, apartment size, service needs, preferred date, business role, and message. Basic technical logs may include an IP address, browser information, referring page, and submission time for security and reliability.

How information is used and shared

We use information to answer requests, prevent abuse, operate the directory, and improve service. Quote details may be shared with up to three providers when you consent. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect users and the service.

Retention and security

Requests are retained only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, operations, legal obligations, and abuse prevention. No internet system is completely secure, so avoid including sensitive financial, medical, access-code, or identity-document information in free-text fields.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion by using the contact form or emailing partners@apartmentcleaningdc.com. We may need to verify your identity.

External sites

Provider links lead to independent websites with their own privacy practices.

Changes

We will update the effective date when this policy materially changes.

First-party conversion analytics

We record privacy-minimized events such as page and profile views, phone and website clicks, and form starts/submissions. A random browser-session identifier is hashed before storage; the analytics table does not store the visitor’s raw IP address. Event records are retained for up to 400 days for aggregate performance reporting and abuse monitoring.

Provider reporting and payment testing

Approved providers may receive aggregate activity counts and lead-status outcomes for their own profile. Reports do not expose browsing histories. Stripe processes payment information on its own service; this site does not collect card numbers. During launch, only Stripe test mode is permitted and no live charge is enabled.
